    Victory cup?

    Hello all,

I have a stainless steel cup here with a droop-tail eagle engraved on it. Would this be considered a victory cup? Marked Rostfrei 18/8

        Hi William

Schnapps cups could be awarded for a number of reasons - I have two dated for an airman's birthdays in 1938 and 1939. I have another celebrating a unit reunion. I think it would be wrong to assume a 'victory cup' unless the cup is marked with the details of the victory. Just my opinion....

sounds about right. Didn't know what exactly to call it, but I've seen some similar stuff. Thanks, Tim!

I agree. Very nice cup but not a Victory Cup.
