Lonr range dayfighter clasp without cutouts

Good Gentleman,

I did a search on the waf to find some information on this type of clasp, but came up with very little, obviously not many encountered, I would appreciate any information that can be offered. The feature I am referring to is the non cut out triangular areas in the oak leaves closest to the circular wreath, where on most clasps they are cut out.
I have attached a link to one that is in the Australian War Museum, which details the cross and how they came by it.

This is a perfectly acceptable configuration for this type of clasp. I apologize for this terrible old photo of part of my collection (I'm away from my home files), but of the 4 Long Range Dayfighters shown (all from US vets), 3 do not have the cutouts and are clearly by the same manufacturer. To me, the manufacturer is unknown, but Tom Durante may have figured it out.

Interestingly, this "1800" long-range clasp was also brought back by a New Zealand POW in one of the badge hoards from "Luckenwalde" ( Stalag III-A ) in 1945

Wish I could accomodate you, Brian, and if there is anything in particular you want to see, let me know and I'll see what photos I have. Years ago, I sent some clasps to Stephen Previtera for his (wonderful) photography and then, later, took some photos myself for Tom Durante. Unfortunately, I kept no organized files at all, so when I can actually find a particular photo, it's somewhat miraculous. Here are a couple I found tonight.
