Your opinion about à FJ badge

Bon soir,
i think the badge is not original.
Very suspicious are the rivets for me, they should be sunk within the wreath,
in your badge the rivets are to large and do not disappear inside the wreath.
Also it could be a wrong material.
Interesting, what others will say
Best regards
Martin

A very interesting badge. It looks good in many respects, but I have a feeling it is a fake. The rivets actually look pretty good to me, except that they are not countersunk into the wreath as Martin mentions. Also, I've never seen an original with a zinc eagle. All the originals I've seen have a tombak eagle and a zinc wreath. On this badge in question, it appears that both the eagle and wreath are gray metal. If it's real, it is a first for me. I suppose it could be a final production run, but more likely it is a fake. It will be interesting to hear Tom Durante's opinion of this one.
Best regards,
