    Assmann Para L/64 Die 2

    Hello,

I got this one and I know full well that it was denazified when I bought it but I just wanted to make sure it was real before I put it away. The swaz that was put back on is not original to the badge and looks like someone made it out of scrap zinc and glued it back on somehow...I have taken a look at the Para Book and all seems okay but I know these are faked very well.

    Opinions are welcome...

    Regards,
    Chris G.

            Hello Chris,

I have no doubts that it is original (excepting swas)

              Yes, original but repaired.

Nice original! Interesting how the gilding is intact only near the reattachment point

                  Hi Chris,

I can only agree with the others, a fine original that has been re-nazified.

Chad, the gold color is from the solder or the glue; its not finish.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
