"Round" Pilot's Badge - is it authentic?

I would sincerely appreciate any opinions as to the authenticity of this unusual round Pilot's Badge. From what I was told, the badge was in a cigar box of relics given to a charity which refused to take the "Nazi items". Thanks.

I am not a believer in ANY of these variants.

There are always a couple at SOS & are fun (the better made fakers) to have in hand.
            Cool looking badges nonetheless.
