    Schlachtflieger

    Hi guys,
I found something what I really would like to buy and due to high price have to sell something. So here I have concensus which one to sell as I personally like them both. One is makermarked Osang with not much paint left. The other one is not makermarked but has much paint left.So I would kindly ask your opinions which one would You let go.Of course the final decision will be mine but I hope you understand how hard it is to choose. Both are very nice in their own way.

I personally like the unmarked clasp the most.
The condition is really outstanding for a zinc clasp.
The marked Osang is nice too, light worn condition.
Marked examples fetch a bit more $$
        The choice is yours

That markd badges fetch more money is silly. The unmarked is a fine original in better condition.

The unmarked example was very likely made by Juncker and no doubts a fine original IMO.

The Osang looks odd to me, can you provide some closeups of the rivet and hinge?

            Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                      Thanks Tom.

The rivet on the Osang is not typical of Osang production, same with the hinge IMO. Closeups of the maker mark would also be helpful, it looks soft compared with originals.

                        Hi Tomlaan,

Please do post some additional pics when you get the Osang in hand, as I am very suspicious about it. Here is another one I have on file like yours with same rivet and cutouts, but marked for Juncker. The style of Juncker mark mark is not correct and this is certainly a reproduction. This type of badge can also be found unmarked, and now if we can see that your example is marked Osang....with the same identical details as these other fakes then I think we can be sure that all these type of badges are made by one and the same faker.

                        Thanks

                          Hi

Just got home and here we go with the picks. If this one is copy then it is outstanding work. Now Im getting to stage to post all my clasps as seems that my knowledge is not enough to fight these copy makers. But first the additional picks. The needle is magnetic and catch is unmagnetic. Also there is some bubbling you can clearly see on picks.
