    Dear Tim,

If you saw the comments in Chinese and the rest what they
wrote, (which has been remowed since that, wonder why?) I don´t Think you will refere to this guys as" this excellent group of guys". They were a shame to the collecting Community. Just making stupid comment regarding my ability to spell in English. I was stupid enough to presume that people interested in german military, also could understand basic german.

As I said Before, Discuss the badge whith new inputs, not "I Think, I don´t feel and so on" but concrete Feedback, it will bring our discussion foreward!

Once again "discuss the badges and not the persons who owns them"!

When someone fights and fights and fights for a fake, it quickly becomes about the "Person" because of the ridiculousness of all the comments. Has NOTHING to do with your language skills.

I don't know why you are so arrogant with extremely skilled collectors who want to help you. You seem very blinded regarding the comments we all gave you about your badge you buy but don't own. You are trying everything possible even turn people comments ridiculous on purpose and you reply back getting very close to an insult. You fight for this badge like hell and nothing to do with your langage. You never answer basic questions like who own it? Where it come from? What the history?.... You are keeping a mystery and confusion around this badge. If you believe its a nice original after all we said well stick with it and stop wasting people time and energy.

Hello again, Sebastien T and Brian S

" You never answer basic questions like who own it? Where it come from? What the history?.... You are keeping a mystery and confusion around this badge. If you believe its a nice original after all we said well stick with it and stop wasting people time and energy."

Is it a basic question who owns it?

Isn´t the badge the main question?

If "my" examapel is a fake , how about Sperrels badge shown in this thread. Is it also a fake? If not, why?

And perhaps the Horthy badge. They all have the same "fingerprints".

You are not contributing with anything but "I Think it is a fake"

When comparing Knight crosses, we know that there are some "fingerprints" that we should look for. But please give me the "fingerprints" for this badge!

Sorry to waste your time and energy.

The burden is on you. Take the photos of a badge shown above known to be real and do a side by side comparison. Photo next to photo. No one's going to do your homework for you any more than what's been done.

Look at the wreath details on yours versus molders. You dont have to look very far.

If you look at post 1 and 2 in this thread you will see what I mean.

              What is the problem?

Here some good reading about this type of PO and your badge is shown and discuss as well. Do your own conclusion now.

The one attributed to Molders posted on page 2 of this thread appears to have a straight wing as well, no?

Hello Scott, I used this argument to compare the Sperrle picture and the badge in question in this thread. There is more differences to be read in the 3 links I posted.

I thought the molders piece was above suspicion.

No, it has a slight curve, not much ..

I agree that many of these should be fake, there's a large profit to be gained if you can find the the right jeweler to help you out.
Then invent that they were 2nd pieces, 3rd pieces, one for the weekend etc..
Half the price is still the amount to buy you a nice car and a well deserved holiday.

Every badge and almost every TR item has its fakes, so why not this one ?!

I'm curious how these fakes are made, the stones, what are they, material of the badge ?
Greed and investment makes people weak, study always comes later.

                              jos.
