    P/O Juncker??.......or not?

I seem to be completely out of the loop lately, concerning prices on Juncker Luft Badges. Here is a P/O by Juncker that has been offered to me.
First off, is it a good one? I am thinking that it is.
Secondly, I am supposed to make an offer on it. What is the going price on these right now? $800? $1000?
    Thanx in advance,
    Tim

Looks to be an original J1, but the lighting in the photos makes it difficult to tell if it's a pilot or a P/O.

Well, if we go with the idea that it is a gold wreath and a silver eagle....and yes, I agree that the pictures could be much better........then it is a P/O and I am safe to pick it up. But the question still remains ....what are these going for?
Help!!!!!! I want to buy it but I don't want to overpay/underpay. It's a friend of a friend.

That eagle looks like it's been blackened. Not a P/O in my opinion.

Yep, I agree. Its a fine original Juncker, but its a regular Pilot badge and not a PO.

Good pix in natural daylight would have been better.

I totally agree, but us beggars can't always be choosers and the people that frequently have these things that we are looking for just don't get how important it is to take a good picture.
I even told my friend that I needed good pictures, front and back, but how far can you go, telling them about lighting conditions, angles, distance.....ad nauseum???!!
If I get it, I'll try and take some good pictures and post them.

Cool, but it's still a pilot not PO.

I see indications of gilt finish on the wreath. I don't see indications of a silver finish. Re the dark "finish" on the eagle, I've seen silver finish tone black before. I don't see any indications of the rivets being tampered with. With the pics and the wear, without having it in hand, who's really to say though?

Re price, for a worn J1 Pilot these days you're probably looking at $1200+. For a worn P/O, more like $3k+, although I've heard dealer gods are asking closer to $10k for near mint ones.

                          Regards
                          Mike

Well, I pulled the trigger and had to figure out how to put money into PAYPAL. Finally got it done and will have the badge in about a week and then we will see if I can take good enough pictures!
Thanx for the comments and the help.
For those of you out there who wonder if the $25 a year is worth it or not, I think this is proof positive of a solid and supportive community.

Mike, I think it's all lighting. And no more a P/O than my PP (Purple Pilot). And I swore I'd never show my PP on the forum.
