Juncker Hallmarked Bomber Clasp

Timmler turned me on to this one. The hallmarked Junckers are not so common. If have a hallmarked Juncker clasp, would like to see more.

Not at all Brian, these bullet cuts are a sign of earlier Juncker production. Later on, they simply drilled the holes out and are therefore perfectly circular.

Nice clasp here, this is the one that Scholz sold not too long ago.

Good info and yup. Always wondered how they did those bullet shaped holes, I can only think they punched them through.

Most makers just drilled them out.

Juncker did too, so they started out circular. Then they took a small jewler's saw and cut the edges out a bit to match the leaves, giving the holes a little more definition. Eventually though, they realized this was too time consuming for a barely noticeable effect and therefore just drilled them out and sent the badge on its way with no hand finishing.

When Juncker switched to zinc production, they didn't even bother to cut the holes out at all.
