    FLL PO on eStand

I hope someone else would want to see better photos of this one to make sure it wasn't a dressed up badge.

Believe me, you don't want to have to deal with a refund with this seller.

    Brian,
I also don't like the coloring on the obverse rivets.

That's what I was seeing but it's difficult from 10,000 feet to see if the rivets are gilted or not... I'd want to see photos right under that eagle with good light to make sure it hasn't been painted on the wreath, and make sure the rivets look like they haven't been reapplied if the finish looked OK. Not accusing the seller, but make sure before you send a wire, 40 in 40 out, 40 out, 40 in, etc. etc. etc. The return transaction could cost you 160 dollars, trust me... A $160 look what I got is junk is not a good ride.

You might want to use a Google Translator my friend...

No one is attacking you personally. Stating the facts of wire transfer costs, which I am sure you remember.

We are asking for are photos to better determine whether the badge is an FLL PO or an FLL Pilot that has been painted into a PO.

If you choose not to post better photos that's entirely up to you, good luck with that attitude.

And, if you read even more carefully, you'll notice a moderator had a problem with the badge too from the photos you posted in the eStand ad...

            First.....i am not your friend!
YOU are attacking me with your statements and arguments, let it be!
I remember well. I would never forget a person like you who
            does not understand.
Again, just for you to understand:
When you made the payment my bank says
that you transmitted all the wire transfer costs to me!
That´s what my bank told me at that time (one or two days later
my bank corrected this statements, i also told you this)
So i contacted you to talk about because this were not our deal and
i felt this is not ok. I wanted to talk about the problem but you directly
begins terror and threaten with publication.
Please note, over 15 private messages within one day from you with deadlines and more, thats terror! I also cannot answer between all your emails because i have a work too and not the time to be online the whole
day!!! All that drama within one or two days
until my bank told me right.
I also told you but this do not bother you and your terror goes on.
            You know what i mean!
First my bank give me a wrong information! **** happens
but i have never find a incomprehension and resentful person.

I do not want to talk with you more. If you do not understand i cannot help.
Do not wondering when i do not answer your next statements. I do not have
            the time for such discussions.

We are collectors and should be happy with our hobby and do not battle,
            that´s what i think!

I am sure some experienced collectors will confirm the P/O badge.
The photos show the golden finish good well.
Also IMO the maker FLL is just a assumption

            regards burnout

...and you attack me, rather than just post photos?

The question is, "Is it a P/O or a Pilot that has been refinished."

You can leave all the other baggage at the door, or at least you should have...

Do you have this badge in hand or are you selling it for your "colleague"?

Difficult to see what's going on here.

It is not refinishing, all is right with this badge! Make your opinion.
I still offered the badged some time ago in Estand and none
                  have problems with the badge!
Anyhow this badge was shown in german forum SDA,
                  result.....it is a P/O badge!

Yes, they are smarter than we are.

I can't tell from these photos, maybe someone else can. If you look at this photo from Nightstalker you can clearly see a nicely "worn" badge and the rivets as expected. I just can't see that in yours.

there looks to be some paint inside the rivits but i can't tell from the angle shots also the finish of the wreath is far to mint compared to that of the eagle my vote is a refinished pilot sorry

These FLL badges can hold their finish very well. I am not certain what to think from the images provided but here are my examples of the two types we typically encounter. Both have previously received the thumbs up here.

As mentioned above, we don't typically see paint on the rivets on unmessed with P/Os. As Tim stated the coloring looks a bit off, but really tough to tell from most photos. There's probably exceptions to the rule, but IMO anyway, the subject P/O looks refinish.
