    The finish on this badge looks dull, not what i expect from the bright FLL's gold finish. My first impression would be refinished pilot badge.
    The rivets are probably a mistake from the painter.
    Pictures are from poor quality. For such a delicate subject you need HQ pics.

      Given the evidence presented by the seller, it's at best questionable, is the consensus by some very well known collectors.

      With regard to Burnout's rant at me, I have to point out that they member posts and posts for free opinions on items and then sells if given the thumbs up. He didn't do it o this one and his photos not to par with other items he's posted.

      Also his photos can be very good but aren't on this item.

      Nice clear photos of wound badge judged bad;

      It's not a vendetta Burnout but there is a pattern with you. I thought it important to point out to members many of whom I feel friendly toward, that they should not get themselves into a situation where they stood lose $160 in wire fees plus postage. If you can't see that, that also says something about you...

      This badge may still turn out to be good but you are not helping, you are fighting the collective people here you want to sell to. I thought the photo at the eagle wing tops showed promise but that was only one angle I could get happy about.

      I wonder if you are going to figure out you are getting hundreds of dollars of free expertise from the most knowledgeable collectors of badges of the Reich in the world. But time and again you are in denial. Forgive me for a cheap shot, but it's just Whine on the Rheine over and again.

      This thread will bury itself, try not to go down with it.

        Hello,

        in my opinion the first badge is a well worn P/O-badge. I don´t have any concerns about it. The reverse finish fits well with badges that are more strongly worn. The colour around the hinge is clearly golden.

        I would buy it as a good original.

        Best Regards

          Hi guys,

          This is a fine original for me as well, I don't really see any issues with it other than being nicely worn.

          If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
