Yes, it is IMO a fake, maybe that confuses you while comparing these. If you need reasons, start with the maker mark. It is absolutely not correct.

I have my opinion on the Heer Para Badge. Only one or two examples exist that are C.E.JUNCKER marked. They are very well documented, and have appeared on this site, over the years. I DO NOT believe that different styles of the hallmark can be found on these pre war awards. At that time, only one JUNCKER hallmark has been seen on that factory's awards. ALL authentic Luftwaffe flying awards, from that period (37, 38) exibit this hallmark. Logic dictates that this same hallmark would be the only hallmark to appear on the Heer Para Badge. At least, that's the way I would invest my money. IMHO.
