    I have no idea what it is, but I like it. Looks to be an original of some type.

      I don't know this badge but could it be post 1945 'Wehrmacht Luftwaffe'. The Luftwaffe had 'WL' on its vehicle licence plates. I'd expect a swastika on a wartime piece.
