    Hi Gents,
that bird crossed my way that week. I was told a Deumer / Junker mix but see for yourself.

    Damn!
    Another sweetie surfaces. Juncker parts.
Swasi was finished off a bit weird but nothing to worry about.
    Awesome matching case.
Can you make out the inscription on the back?

Three of these in the last week! Where are they all coming from, or is it just coincidence? I picked one up and put it on here and two more followed in quick succession!

                Hi Sascha,

I can only agree with the others, a gorgeous Deumer with excellent matching case.

As the guys said, it is made with Juncker parts (both wreath and eagle), but it was put together and finished by Deumer.

All these Deumer 'J2' types have fantastic detail and are truly lovely badges. I am certainly no expert in this area but all the examples I have seen from Deumer seem to have eagles made from neusilber (white metal alloy) rather than tombac (yellow metal alloy). The Juncker made 'J2' types seem to be tombac (yellow).

Is this a difference between manufacturers, a difference in date of manufacture or did both manufacturers produce in both metals randomly? I know Previtera suggests tombac followed neusilber in the timeline but I am not sure what evidence there is for this.

Just want to echo what the others have said and that it truly is a very nice Deumer!!! What I like the most though is the case!! Fantastic to find such a early style mint condition case as it looks! Good find!!
