Catch on Deumer para...please have a look

Hello all,

please see this Deumer Para badge and have a special look on the catch.

IMO this catch is ok as it can be found sometimes on Deumers that there is a kind of "surplus" material around the catch...or is it a repair?

I agree, catch looks OK

See attached picture. Both my Deumers have this surplus (welding?) material around the catch & the hinge as well under the "newe silber"/ white wash finish
