Juncker Observer - Opinions please

I have been offered this observer badge by Juncker, my experience whith these badges is very limited so any opinions on this badge is appreciated.

I think this is a bad badge...

It looks like this badge lacks the sharp detailing to the obverse, that an original Juncker-made observer badge should show; even though it is a rather poor picture, this is visible in the feathering of the eagle's right-hand wing. Furthermore, the hinge seems a bit odd...? However, I might be overly suspicious... But these are only my personal, humble, observations...
Hopefully, others will join the review-line...!

I am not too sure, looks like a 2nd patt with 3rd patt wreath, but details look very soft (could be photo quality) & the eagles tail looks very short?

A few years ago I would have said its OK without reservations. Nowadays you can´t be careful enough. Rivets, hardware and construction look good. I am not to keen on the outer contours of the eagle. It all looks rather soft, as if cast. Also the hand finishing around the eagle does not appear to be present. Compare the reverse contours of the eagle with the one that Neil is showing, see what I mean?

A nice close up of the MM could be helpful.

Agree with the above.. I would want some better images before parting with the 'hard earned'.. Just something that doesn't feel right.

Thanks for your opinions. I see what you meen with the contours of the eagle, it looks to be different to the one Neil posted.

I asked the seller and he can´t take better pics with his camera, so I guess I will have to pass on this one.

In addition to what has been said, I find it strange that one can see the pure Tombak in areas that cannot possibly have been exposed to excessive natural wear. Like eagle reverse close to wreath, etc.

Hmmmmmmmm...............I would have to say I need better pics of the obverse, straight on, for me to comment. The reverse as neil stated looks good, but need better pics.

The seller sent the badge to me so I could take better pics, hopefully they will help to determen if it´s good or bad.
