Honor Role Clasp - Something I Found Out of Woodwork - Opinions Please

Would appreciate your opinions on this Honor Role Clasp I had previously picked up from a walk in to an antique shop along with some other WWII US, British and German items.

I took photos and tried to capture it on my scanner. Hope there is enough to go by.

Thanks in advance for your opinions. I have no money in it, so no worries with blunt opinions.

            Thanks gentlemen, appreciate the opinions.

I don't collect this award and was thrown in unexpectedly for free, and if it seems to good to be true.....

                    Thanks for the opinions.

I wasn't looking for this one, so need to continue looking for another.

The honor roll clasp was thrown in free inside a WWII vintage Bronze Star case with a number of other items that were completely cost free to me.

would like to post this for reference. On the accepted versions the acorns in the lower center are much different as is the overall appearance of the eagle and where the reverse prongs are located.

accepted version - notice the upwards ^ in between the non-cutout acorns - it is like this on all of the originals

Only Williams here above is an original. The others are fakes.
