    Assmann para opinions pls

    Hi Guys

These injection molded ones are a tough call sometimes, does this one look ok or a Staegemaier special?

    Many thanks

I agree these can be a tough call...that Staegemaier bugger has the reverse die characteristics on this particular badge down really well.

I would lean towards a Staegemaier just because of the condition of the eagle...its worn finish on the front is one I have seen on many of his similar creations with the no. 1 die mark on the back IMHO.

    Cheers,

    Glen

      Hi Patrick,

Yep, that is a Staegemeir fake all right, nicely spotted guys!! Here is another one just like it. Well made and pretty deceiving when just looking at pics, but if you were to get this one in hand you would be able to tell pretty easily that it was incorrect. Hard to describe, but they just have a very weird feeling to them.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
