    GWL Pilot nice finish

    Hello Collectors,

here I wanted to show a great badge out of my collection:

A close to mint GWL pilot cased.
The amazing thing is the colour of the wings as it turned into a kind of light green.
Hope this can be seen on the images accordingly. It came with the shown case.

    All comments are appreciated

    kind regards & thanks

    Martin

            Hallo Martin,

For sure a beauty Looks textbook in every respect, even with the green patina on the eagle, something we see sometimes on these GWL badges (and IMME badges as well, so it could be the type of finish they both used that makes them attract a greenish patina over time).

            Very nice Martin.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Nice original GWL Martin. Mint condition bird, and nice case to boot. I have its brother in my collection. The solitary little feather above the nape of the neck is there (in the "v" between the wings). I can't see it but assume there is thumbprinting on the reverse of the eagle also.
Appears to be a great badge.

                      Hey Martin!
Agree with all that cased bird's a beauty & I for one really like the green patina. I've read about it, 1st I've seen!
                      Congrats!!
