    Hi Tom,

Maybe it is a experimental badge with a quintet metal composition

I forget where I saw that little sign (prolly at one of the big US shows) that said
"how come everything that belongs to you is a treasure and everything that belongs to me is worthless POS".
The posted badge is for sale on estand so I would really appreciate that if you're not sure what are you looking at or "get cheated by pics" or anything else to perhaps ask for more pics instead to tell people to stay away from my wares.
To the hypocrites that commented first (Karsten and Greg)-
You know-when you sell a badge it can be hacked with a saw but you still deem it "a nice historical piece"- if it belongs to someone else then its a big problem and you recommend people stay away from it.
As for Greg- Pal, you're salivating over a badge that's been shot up with a homemade rivets up and down but since it belongs to you- well, you "also love these "been there done that" seen it all badges!". Apparently story changes when its someone else's badges.

      what a joke

        Matthew,

You ask for opinion and members tell you what they think based on the images provided.
As in all aspects of life, it is human to fail, but it is also just what it is, an opinion. This is also what imo forum´s like WAF is all about, helping to the best of each ability.
I am sorry that you don´t like what you hear, but I do not recall being personal to you as you are right now to me and Greg, which IMO is way out of order.

The better images are (with true color) the better help you can get, but it will always be subjective opinions in the end.

I have no motives to be cruel to you, so I am truly sorry that you feel this way.

        Best Regards

        Karsten

Im not onlytalking about you being wrong about the materials used in the construction of the badge. Im also talking about you telling potential buyers to stay away because some of the finish is worn off and at the same time selling a badge that is far worse in the condition (parts cut off of it)
If you don't see the hypocrisy here then Im not sure what to say to you but Im hoping that the priviledge of telling members to stay away from badges you sell (if they're not mint-and lets face it-70 yrs later not too many are)here will be extended to me as well.

            Hi guys,

Lets keep it civil here. Francisco asked for opinions and that is EXACTLY what Karsten and Greg (and the others) have offered....and that is what the forum is all about. Keep that in mind Matthew, I think you are taking things a little too personal here.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
