OM PB case

A quick question - are there one or more types of PB cases that can be attributed specifically to the OM maker?

Personally I feel this type of case is typical for OM. I have seen several with this case including a mint example direct from the LW veterans estate that was shown several years ago on GMIC.

Thanks for posting Richard. A wonderful badge you have there. I recently got this one - surface texture and button seems similar to yours - text and font type is different. I don't know about the inside.

Textbook OM case, just as it should be. I´ve also seen several OMs from estates in these cases and have no doubt in my mind that they where used for OMs back then.

Hi guys,

Jesper, that is a nice case you have there, was that a recent pickup from MD? It stood out to me because of the blue insert border, something I don't recall seeing before. Richards also has the same blue insert, very interesting and cool to see and agree with you guys that this is likely the OM case.

Thanks guys. Thomas - if you mean MD militaria - no it came from another source in Germany. It's the first cased one I've seen in a very long time.
The blue insert border is a really nice touch, haven't seen that before either.

The case I posted initially also has the blue interior border. Typical cases for BSW have a white border. I wonder if this border feature is somehow an Austrian connection???
