    cased P/O badge Deumer

    Yesterday I visit a collector friend and he showed me his P/O badge.
    What do you think about it?
    catch looks like a GWL catch???

      There are, for me, many problems with this set. Firstly the case is reproduction. Next the rivets, catch are not what are seen from this maker. The eagle and the wreath look like Deumer but the finish is suspect.

            I agree with the comments on the Badge, itself. Wouldn't touch it.

            I don't know cases though. The one shown is certainly 'aged' well. What are the indictors that it is bad?

                      I can only agree, a well made fake. This one is really good, with a very good attempt at original Deumer hardware. However, rivets are clearly not Deumer and the finish is a far cry from what we see on original badges.

                      I also agree that the case is fake, I think this one is a "dotty" fake Mark.
