Happy New Year to one and all!

This arrived today. I tend to be nervous of cloth awards but this badge I feel certain is OK. I know we say it a lot but this one really is better in the hand than the photos suggest.

Hi Tim,

I have collected luftwaffe for 30 years and I like your badge too. I have an officers bullion/cloth pilots badge which looks to be from the same maker and which was removed from a fliegerblouse together with a bullion/cloth DKiG and Breast eagle. The pilots badge bears a paper label 'F.Scmitt Stoff Effecten'

Hi Tim,

Nice addition, great looking bullion Observer. Like you, I am always a bit skeptical of cloth badges, they seem to be much easier to fake than their metal counterparts. However, I like the look of yours and I think you picked a winner IMO.
