    Pilot Observer Fake?

The reverse looks similar to the Unmarked examples I have seen around but rivets are not. I assume this piece is a repo. What are the bad points to the obverse? Please educate me a bit. Anyone see this setup before? 3 pics. Thanks.

Hi Bob. It is not an original unmarked PO badge. Here is a comparison of the eagles where you can see the differences. Original unmarked PO on the left. The badge actually looks like a hybrid of the unmarked variety and a GWL. What is the patch on the back covering?

I had the same set up on a PO marked as CEJ that was a fake.

Lorenzo, the back mark was covered by me as it is marked GWL. I knew it was not the classic GWL as the rivets etc are all wrong for that setup. Can't get a good pic of GWL mark at the moment. Here is the best I can do. Thought it was interesting though as there has been much talk about the unmarked possibly being made by GWL.
