Hi Carlo,

Very nice original Juncker, but you are correct that its been denazified and renazified. The Juncker swastika is very unique in that it has a step of metal inside the top left swastika arm and is NOT seen on your example. Most definately a new swastika.

In my opinion, the badge is worth more when it is left alone and not "renazified". Original owners typically denazified their badges after the war, but only collectors and dealers "renazify" them and therefore devalue the piece in my opinion.

What is the value of a denazified para? Just curious how much value is attributed to the swas and how much loss occurs if removed. For example (in general), does denazification drop the value as much as 50%?

I know the value does drop, but the badge remains original, and caries the history of the political changes that occurred after the war.
