A rare hollow-back Hobacher. Bummer about the pin though.
    Still a great flak badge

I actually have the pin for it too, it looks like it was repaired at one point and then broken.

          Tim:
You didn't make your find(s) anywhere near the Trego, WI area did you? About 15 years ago, I bought an amazing haul of original stuff at an antique shop in Trego (now closed). The seller had no idea what he had, and let a bundle go for $50. Apparently there was a vet in the area that had brought back a haul and also did not know its value....

I used to live in WI and can't begin to tell you how much stuff popped up in those little towns. I found good stuff almost every weekend...

And i would agree, id say that 90% of my large collection has been found cheap in antique stores in northern MN and WI.

Nice score Tim, a very rare type of flak badge you have there. Too bad about the missing pin, but still a great catch for a great price.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Agreed, and one of the more difficult Flak Badges to acquire! Nice score!
