      Hi Anthony,

You are right to be weary of this one, its a reproduction. The wreath looks like a close Juncker design, but the eagle is an S&L. The hardware, rivets and stamp also don't look good for Juncker badges, wrong in many respects.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Many thanks Tom, this was offered to me in trade against some US AB items I have up for sale. There was a reason I stepped away from German badges years ago.
Here are two more that were offered:

                  Hi Anthony,

I can only agree, all 3 are fakes.

The Assmann uses a common fake eagle on a BSW-like wreath..but then with an Assmann mark

The IMME is a pretty common para fake, very well made with a Deumer-like wreath. Original IMME para badges almost always have a silver wreath, the only maker to do this consistently as all the others had darkened wreaths. So if you remember that, then whenever you run into an IMME para badge with a darkened wreath you are almost always holding a reproduction. There are exceptions to every rule, but 99% of the time original IMMEs will have a silver wreath.

                      Para badge

Anthony, I have to agree with everyone else on these badges, all are bad. And, I agree with MDJ to whom the dealer is. Smitty.
