Hello Eddy in these days you are spending a lot of moneyyou got many badges

This flak is very nice but seems to be a crack repaired in the wreat just over the gun barrell or is a mistake in my eyes?
          Cheers

DAMN Eddie - that is the best Tombak FLL I have ever seen! They ALL have a crack right there, and also probably a hairline on the gun. Caused by a weak spot from the cooling process.

Hi Carlo, thank you for your comment, not all badges i buy for what they worth, last couple of month i got very lucky and found some super deals

This badge i payed top dollar but i don't mind since all others helped generate little $ for upcoming purchases.

The crack you see there is a result of cooling process 99% tombak FLL found with those cracks.

                kind regards,

                Eddie

                      Hmmmmmm.......

Yes, we all know Eddie has a problem even he would admit. Maybe he'll get
help one day before he is living in a homeless shelter but anyway....
Eddie how come you call it mint? To me it looks a little used. Just curious.
Plus, did flak badges come from the factory with a blacken patina look to them?
It seems all of them have that look. I just thought it was from wearing them
while firing guns and all the smoke and soot. just trying to do a little learning.

The book below will explain things further, but they used a dark protective lacquer and burnished the highlights. I'd say this is a mint Linden.

Great addition Eddie, a real nice and rare badge.

Marc picked up a nice one at the MAX, and now you have one.....I am starting to feel left out

                          Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
