Italian Pilot badge awarded to German pilot question

Just got this Italian Pilot badge in a small group.
I'm mainly interested in approx how many of these were awarded to German Pilots.
The German Pilot badge has the pilot's initials scratched on the reverse, so I thought maybe MAYBE there is a chance to find the pilots name.

Nice one that still retains the crown and fasces. It's difficult to estimate how many were awarded to Luftwaffe pilots but I'm sure it's at least a few thousand.

I know that the pilot received the German Pilot badge and the Kampfflieger in bronce clasp as well as the above, but I guess it wont make it any easier....or?

No. These pilot wings were often honorary awards to Luftwaffe pilots who acted in a liaison role, trained Italian pilots, etc
