      aren't there ment to be eagles riveted on top of these badges?

        They are late war and then they dont put an eagle there only a rivet to fill the hole

          Interesting; didnt know that. I have such a GAB myself and have always thought it was missing its eagle

              They look good to me. Looks like they did a sloppy soldering job at the factory, or it could be repaired hardware.

                I would say "original" with repaired/replaced hardware. Both badges' hinge areas look resurfaced to accept replacements. Have never seen a Wiedmann hinge/pin on a GCB before (badge on the right) either lending further evidence to me that it has indeed been replaced.
