I can only agree, a nice original Assmann. But I think it is Nickel Silver rather than tombak as I don't see any yellow color showing through.

Hello Tom,the badge it's very heavy 44,37 grams,so it could be tombak.
If I'm wright the zink are lighter

Hi Carlo,

Tombak and Nickel Silver are very similar in weight and makeup, just the color is different. Tombak is a type of brass and will appear yellow, and Nickel Silver is also a type of brass but is silver in color. They both weight the same.

Zinc is definately lighter and will be grey.
