Help needed on Bulgarian Observers Badge. Possibly German made?

Hello all,
I am new to this forum and have no idea how to add independent photos, but I have this item posted in the U.S. Militaria forum. I have been told that it is a bulgarian observers badge. This one looks to be german made so possibly used by a luftwaffe soldier? I am looking for any information, and possibly a running value so I can make sure I didn't spend too much on it. Thanks!

Nobody has anything to say about this one? I know there are a lot of experts on this forum, just wondering if this one looks german made, and if possible a company that may have made it based on construction. Thanks to all.

Yes, it's ID is correct but it may not be of German manufacture. I haven't handled any pinback versions, only screwback. If genuine I'd say it's a $550 piece.

Thanks for the great info. Is there anyone out there that may be able to positively ID this badge as being german manufacture, or by a specific company?

Pin set-up looks very similar to this German imperial award.

Thank you so much for posting that photo. It does look exactly like the pin and catch on that medal. So I guess I am going to have to deduce that this piece is german made for luftwaffe pilots who received or assisted in instruction of the bulgarian observer program. I suppose I did pretty well on the purchas too as it is worth a little more than that I had paid for it. Thanks so much for all your help.
