Oh, that was bad, sad news. But after all, he was 91 years old and I guess all that victories took energy... 275... Hals- und Beinbruch!

Sad news. I hope he had enough time to burn the money he got from his awards. For the Luftwaffe fans who still haven't read it is a must to read "Mein Flugbuch", his only good biography.

Met him once, long time ago. A real gentleman, very animated. A true loss.

Like Gene, I also met him many years ago. A charismatic and very friendly person and a gentleman in every sense of the word, who probably should have received the Brilliants to his RK. This is a true loss and he will be greatly missed.

I was both saddened and glad to see his awards at the MAX last week and hope that he was able to provide a useful benefit to his family by their sale.

                            Gunther Rall

                            Hello,
That is very sad news. I met Mr. Rall over 16 years ago and he was very friendly and had no problem signing a photo or two. Mr. Rall was a class act.

                            Regards,
                            Jody
