Agreeed the photos are not the best due to the poor lighting. It appears from the photos to have a very smooth back but I can see a few over casts or rough spots here and there. I really like the finish on the obverse, especially the wreath.
Best thing to do is get shots with flash indoors "use a solid white backer," the natural light didn't work all that well.Comment

Here are some more pix. Tried with the white background, used the tripod, various zooms and angles.
