Luft Pilot's Badge - good or fake?

    Hello everyone,

I have this Luftwaffe Pilot's Badge that I'm not sure about (as I do not collect these). Any information you all have would be greatly appreciated, as to:
    1) Is this a good one, or a fake?
    2) If good, who manufactured it? (looks like an Assmann mark, but I don't know).

    Thanks in advance!

    John

                  Sorry John,

This is a reproduction. Do a search in this forum and you will see the difference between a real Assman and the one you posted.

                      Hi,

As has been mentioned, fake. Eagle, wreath, rivets are all bad for an Assmann. Additionally, that pin set up is more like a '57 version than TR era.

Here's an example of a war-time 'spun' Assmann rivet.
