You been on Jägermeister or something?? Since when was this a pilot badge?

Still a keeper. Welcome to the club!

          Hi Rich,

Not yet, but it sounds like a good idea. I have several badges to post, and got ahead of myself. Now, where is a moderator when you need one.

HEEEEEELLLLLLLLLP. Please edit title to read, OBSERVER.

BTW, IMO the early Deumer Observer is a much nicer design than their pilot...

Hello Mark: This pattern observer is one of my favorites. The detail is amazing as well as the feel. Yours has a great finish remaining while this guy has been around. Great pick-up, congratulations. Richard

John, That grouping is incredible. What a collector's dream!

Martin, The early badges are quite alluring, to be sure.

                          Colt45, OK. Not sure that's a Deumer!

Richard, They are just so perfectly made. The workmanship is of the highest caliber.

Johan, "....... why not a keeper? ......" It definately is! Please excuse my 'twisted' sense of humor!

Tim, "..... How much are those early Deumers going for these days???.." Nice set up! You don't think I'm really gonna answer that here, do you! Between $2 - 2.5K, if they are available. And of course, 'condition' rules apply.

Rich & Colt, Thanks! Some badges come along and I just can't "say no"!

Thanks All, for the positive comments.

Check out the catch. Look at the little 'hook' on the end of the 'C'. It helps to 'lock' the pin tip in place securly. The ends of the pin and catch are 'cleanly' hand beveled. This was no apprentice's work!

And the Eagle's head and beak, and eyes. And talons. The feathers on the legs are streaming in the wind. All cleanly stamped.

An outrageous design. Just gorgeous craftsmanship! You are amassing a huge pre-show haul - will you have beer money or am I buying?

Hey Amigo, NOOOOOOooooooo Problemoooooooooo with the bier. But you are right, I have spent my entire allowance (and then some!) before the show even starts. That sucks! But now, I won't feel 'driven' to find anything. It'll make the show that much more relaxing. Just put 'er on cruise control and ride.

PS - Am posting the Heer R.S. lightweight zinker on the Heer Forum. Yes, another new acquisition.
