It appears identical to my BSW marked badge.

        Glide rpilots badge

        Hello Snigley,

Thanks for the comments ( can you post a picture or a link towards your badge ? ) , this type of badge has the exact matching features of a BSW badge and it is a unmarked type from this company IMHO.

The catch is bent over on this example ( happens quite a few times )

Stijn, the only difference I noted was the area of the eagles eyebrow, and that may be just the photo. Other than that these are pretty close.

            Glider pilots badge => BSW

            Hello,

many thanks for these great pictures => regarding the eyebrow, that is due to the effect of the picture IMHO, otherwise they seem to fit each other perfectly => anyone else who cares to comment on the badge presented by me ? ( such as => is it genuine etc ... ?, as there are some doubters around )

The breaks in the reverse of the wreath are a very normal feauture on this producents badge => you can find it on Snigly's badge, the first presented badge + I will another one that has the very same feature . ( a tip for all Glider pilot lovers => when searching for a genuine example of these and you encounter one of these, the eagle's head is very characterisitic + the reverse side with the cracks in the wreath ( only visible from behind !!! ) and offcoarse the whole needle system.

anotehr one => the same characterisitics

              Hello,

And here is one I obtained several years ago directly from the Glider pilot veteran (togheter with his award document, etc ... etc ... ) , it is a very worn badge with wearing traces on the highlights of the front of the badge.

                reverse

                hello,

And here is the reverse of the above presented badge => note the cracks in the wreath, rivets, etc .... ( the hook is broken of due to exstensive wear ! )

                Opinions are welcome

                  Hi Stijn.

Congratulations with your glider pilots, nice originals.
These badges are very rare and seldom seen in collections.
But with your experience on these birdies I wouldn't have expected less ....

                  Pieter.

                  P.S up for a C.E.Juncker one....
                  SUUM CUIQUE ...
