Clearly a Souval, but the metal is incorrect. Should be zinc, but the hardware looks like it is for a Tombak and the closeup of the eagle looks like something other than zinc. Can we see the hardware and get weight/measurements?

The Vienna Design is the most faked, though most are just ugly fakes. This is absolutely Souval and not another of the Vienna makers. Perhaps a good Tombak, perhaps a good casting. More info needed.

Hi Marc, first of all thanks for your help. I appreciated that. I do not have the badge in my hands, so these are the only photos available and also measurement etc are not possible. The guy who is selling this badge is saying that this is a tombak one and that it is a "bodenfund"..

The ONLY Tombak Heeresflak maker I know of is the first pattern juncker. ANY other "tombak" Heeresflak should be treated VERY CAUTIOUSLY. The hardware on this one needs to be looked at. Bodenfund is usually sysnonymous with "I am trying to hide it is fake."

Good idea, but if you get a shot of the hinge and catch that will help us keep up with things.
