Hi Guys, I'm a cloth guy, not a badge guy, but wanted to get some feedback on this badge. Opinions appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sir,

Could you post a close up of the Maker's Mark and general area?

      Hello Gerard,

the case is original, the badge is a copy. It´s one of the better BSW-fakes - but a fake.

      Kind Regards

              Gerard,
How much is/was the badge and case? I emailed you pics of my original pilot observer badge but never heard back from you.

Hi Guys, thanks for the input. I appreciate it. Gene, I don't remember the email. Resend it if possible. There was no price, as it was a collection he wanted to sell to get into other items. He bought most of his stuff at "Hap's militaria" in Florida. I will have to break the bad news.

                  Jeff,
I don't suspect we'll see the 'swirls' on this baby!

That badge belongs with the brown "swirls" in the white porcelain.

Guys, I'm not so certain even the case is original. Why is the inside so worn only to have perfect gold on the lettering on the outside. I'd have thought it would have been the other way around.

The case looks like it might be okay. Appears to be one of those cases associated with the "unknown maker" PO badges. MIne is still decent on the outside, but almost totally devoid of flocking on the insert.

I agree that the badge itself has more than its share of problems

                          Best,
