Um, i don't want to overstep the boundaries here, so mods, if i'm out of line tell me and i will shut up, but am i the only one who thinks this deserves some serious punishment? ChrisH has been told repeatedly that its a reproduction (with ample evidence from William) and has (possibly) sold it on the E-Stand anyway.

I mean, this really isn't one of those pieces where it could be either way, this one is pretty well busted. Anyone else?

sorry, but thats not a fair reply from australia
Niemann is the No1 in germany for WW2 badges,
i think he has more then 500 or 1000 pilotb. in hands, and he makes a COA "Original"
in e-stand i stop the selling ........... on hold

      regards Chris

I must support Chris on this, I have bought some very nice items from him - all 100% original - and know him personally for some time as a fine character.

And a Niemann COA is a Niemann COA - but if the badge is now on hold the problem should be solved, I´m confident he would never sell a copy as an original.

Perhaps Detlev will take a look and comment on the piece. I don't see a date on the COA but it is in DMs so it is an earlier one. Perhaps his opinion has changed.

That Niemann should comment it a good idea

Chris seems like a nice guy and he just truly trust Niemann´s COA´s. Remember that we are all collectors and we should treat everybody as fellows and in the interest of helping each other.

                Cheers

Yeah, well he tried to sell it as original even after being told that it isn't -so maybe its time for a confidence check. I hope when he says its on hold it means "pending discussion" and not "pending payment". As for COA, well you can check my thread on GPB-it came with a COA as well-guess what-it wasn't an original badge either so don't hang on to any COA unless of course you collect those
                  cheers

                    Hold your horses Matt.

He put if for sale on E-stand 4th of Dec. and this thread started 7th of Dec.

                    Cheers

Hi contact Detlev and ask him if the COA is original, the fakers have been supplying these with bogus pieces for a while, Im sorry to hear your out on this badge its one of the pitfalls of collecting TR material
                            Cheers
