I´m unsure if this is original. I looks like an FLL, but the wreath is wrong, and also the set-up on the reverse.

Sorry, but I´m not a fan of it.

    Cheers

Hi was this one for sale recently with a Detlev niemann COA? i seem to remember one like it. This is a reproduction and if you do a search for FLL pilots badge you will find a good number of good examples, the reverse setup is incorrect for this type of badge as is he wreath.
        Heres the reverse of mine

            Hello again,

If you firmly believe this is original, then you should firmly believe that it was produced by an unknown maker thought to be FLL.

I'm with those who think it's not original. The eagle looks like an "FLL", but the wreath looks like a mild version of a "dipping wreath" fake. COA's don't come down from Mt Sinai on stone tablets. They're really only as good as the item they represent. They can, however help you get your money back, if you so choose.

I´m sorry, but even Mr Niemann is wrong from time to time, and he usually has no problem admitting it. You get more knowledge over time. I would contact Detlev Niemann if i was you.

                Cheers

It is a very well made copy, but it is indeed a copy.

                        Sorry

                        Regards

Agreed, and to give you some reading material:

The only argument your badge could possibly hold is that it is an early example, but I just provided three links to tombak badges that do not show your badge with the style of wreath and hinge/catch setup.

                              Hello,

So you still believe it is original?

.......because you're selling it as one!

Look at the BLOB on the first oak-leaf in between the white squares!
