    Alu Juncker

Heres a birdy that I have eventually managed to coax into my collection after many months of trying.
Interesting are the steel rivets which you can also see on the front.

He´s had a hard life, but as my first Alu. badge I like him.

That's a nice original pilots badge in alu. Althoug repared still a nice collectable.
Aluminum luft badges are my favourite ones. They are very seldom seen in perfect unrepared condition.
A lot of discussion on these if they are early or late-wer pieces. I consider them as early ones.

Nice one Skip, I really like the alu one's as well.

I have an Assmann pilot which has been well worn as well. Here's a really nice one. While not a juncker and not pilot take a look... it's one of my favourites.

        back. Quite minty!

I would also say they were early pieces. This one came cased and looks like it has been there from day one and the case is without doubt an early one.

Skip this is a breakthrough badge that I have never seen before. What you all are looking at is a J2 in ALUMINUM. This is a first for me.

Thanks very much for the confirmation guys. I thought it was good but always nice having 2nd, 3rd and other opinions.
Rich that is a really nice airgunner and amazing condition for an alu badge. I am looking for one of these as well as I really like the A and DRGM marks on them.

            Yuri, is this really such a rare piece? which type is normally encountered? the thin wreath flat type? if you hav´nt seen one there really can´t be that many around so;

Calling all alu badge owners- does anybody else have a J2 alu

            thankyou, Skip

                HI Skip,

Another nice piece. Weitze has sold a little while ago, an IMME or JMME marked badge & an unmarked badge.

Just don't leave it near any light draughts or it will blow away!!

                      Hi Skip,
No J2 here, but I do have a Juncker Air Gunner / Radio Operator with the 1st pattern eagle ( with a wartime catch repair). Not a Pilot badge, but it is a Juncker!
