A Fighter w/ Pendant Clasp Opinions. Gene this is another marked clasp like
the Gold Bomb one I posted a few days ago. But on this one I was able to open the pin far enought to scan the maker mark. What to you all think. Jimmy

Al, I've explained this in the past. I have no eye for the minute details it takes to ascertain good from bad I am 66 and my eyes are old and weak. I have bought all these badges over a long span of years. Nothing recent. Most for sure before the Internet or any reference books. In later years I switched to high end dealers then a treasured badge with an expertise was proved to be a fake. So I have just watched and tried to look on here at all the threads so that I could become my own adviser but alas that was not in the cards. I can not catch on to all the details no matter how hard I try. Just like I cant do lots of things anymore, I"m just to old and weak eyed . Sorry, so I depend on the very nice gentlemen on here to help me sort them out. Sorry if I bothered you with this post. Jimmy

As Al may have been alluding to, the search function would show you that the makermark is bad. Luftwaffe collecting 101. Juncker never had this makermark on a FFSpange. My eyes aren't too good these days either. A X10 Loupe helps a lot.

Yes I read that before. But just last week Detlev had one on his update I"m pretty sure that is where I saw it. So I dug them out of the rubbish pile and here I am.

If you could post a link to the image, that would make explaining any variances a whole lot easier from 'our' end. It's like a doctor trying to diagnose a patient without seeing him.

I just went and looked it is not there. Sold I guess. I was a little window between the front and back pictures that showed the Juncker mark. But with out the 68.

Jimmy, it is not personal but some of the stuff you have posted (and you have posted alot) are very obvious fakes. A simple look at any original Juncker clasp would show that this one is bad, hell even a look at any original fighter clasp should raise concerns about that pathetic looking winged arrow.

This is good advice for anyone. Tell us what you like about it. Tell us what you dislike about it. Tell us you compared it to others and are just not sure. Show us that you at least made an attempt on your own to find something out about this badge and I bet you will get more and better responses from readers.

Al I have made many attempts for the last two years.
My badge in my hand and the Fakes Gallery etc on my screen. I am sorry It just alludes me. Sorry. I can't do it. I'm sure that is hard for you to understand.
Most of the guys on here are very very helpful. I've had no complaints about all the help I've received. They have been most gracious.
And if I read you right and you feel put out answering my newbie posts even thought I've been around for many decades I am very sorry. . Jimmy

In a nutshell Jimmy, this one is bad too. Juncker didn't make fighter clasps as far as I've been able to gather, and the placement/marking is all wrong too.

IMO "we" are being a bit to hard on Jimmy ....
Jimmy - this one is a bad bad fake. Besides the MM the whole core looks just horrible.
