As Skip said, the Assmann and GWL are fakes. The zinc PM observer is original. best wishes,

Like I said, or maybe I didn't, I'm not much into LW badges just yet, but if the price is right then I can always make an exception, since I'll be heading down that road eventually. Thanks guys.

I think most LW badge collectors would consider $275 for the PM Observer a relative bargain.

I cleaned up the zinc pest a little and since little to no finish remains, gave the whole badge a light coat of EV olive oil. I'll post some new pics in a day or 2. Thanks for all the help fellas.

Here's a few pics of my new badge cleaned up a little. Zinc pest doesn't look so bad anymore. It has some character, anyway, so I like it. If any of you care to comment on this badge please share some info......it would be much appreciated. I deleted the pics of the repros above to save space.
