    luft bomber clasp- in gilt, marked "A" by the hinge assembly. What do you folks think?

                  I guess I should have been a little more specific, it is marked Assman next to the clasp.
                  Is this one the real deal or just a good copy. What do you guys think?

                    Hello Ed,

                    I´m quite sure that this one is cast copy of an Osang-Clasp.

                    It has much to soft details. But the most important thing is that "A" never produced flying clasps.

                    Don´t buy it.

                        I do not like this one either. Just for grins, is the body and the pin magnetic? The pin looks like it is made of steel.

                          Thanks to everybody here. You guys have saved me alot of headache down the road!

                          The pin and clasp are non magnetic as is the rest of the badge.

                          I vaguely remember someone from the Clevelnad Ohio area who was repopping these in the 80's and he had a ton of them made.
