It looks very good but when you have time can you take a shot and focus on the catch? The same angle though!

I'll throw out another observation here, at first I was concerned about the bend in the pin from the close up pic of Shawn's badge, the same arcing curve seen in Silvano's picture in post #12, where the pin attaches to the hinge.

Then I looked at my buntmetal unknown observer and para and they both have the same arc to the pin at the top.

Since the swaz on both of these P/O's is still even and not the one fat arm that is seen on later examples, I think both of these are very early badges by this maker (unknown/FLL). Since we all know how sloppy they got later it would make sense that they would abandon the extra effort involved with a barrel hinge and go to the simplier, single solder point for a block hinge.

It sounds good to me at least
