GWL pilot badge. any good?

I want some opinions about this GWL pilot badge.
Doesn't this one look simular to the one I already posted a few weeks ago?

The seller has an expertise from Detlev Niemann.
I have some doubts about the rivets.

Also the flaw seems to be on an other place. Normally 7o'clock but here its 1o' clock.

Hi Nick. Always hard to say just from a scan, but the badge looks good to me. The eagle and wreath design are correct; the feather fletching and details are right; the coloring of the eagle looks OK (allowing for scanning distortions.)

I've blown-up the rivets and mark and they look OK to me. Notice the distinctive "swirl" pattern on the eagles' reverse.

The mark looks OK, but it is probably an earlier badge made before the die stamp broke. The "break" you are seeing is probably a flaw or from damage that occured when the badge was stamped. If you think about it, it wouldn't make sense for a faker to make this good a badge...and then "blow" the mark.

Other opinions?

Hello Nick,
I like the badge also - eagle, wreath and color all look like GWL to me. I also have no problem with the rivits at all, a good deep striking. The "swirl" marks on the reverse of the eagle
are only found on original Pilot and P/O by GWL.
