    Marc,

Yeah that was just a little tongue in cheek.......... But just a little bit.

I've been involved in post WWII German police insignia collecting for twenty years. Just recently got into the TR side of things. But I will say, it's tough. So many nuances to learn.

I wish I could hook up with a local TR Polizei collector to help bring me along. I don't have enough trust in my recognition skills to venture forth just yet

Ron P - thanks for the approval of my Juncker Silver Close Combat Badge! I didin't see any other genuine ones either. A friend of mine bought a gold one that looked hopeful at first glance, but then later returned it as a probable re-paint. These higher grade close comabt badges are much rarer than some people think...Tom

Wolfe and burmeister had nice CCC etc. for sale, were they good?
Are they included in the bad ones you all saw?

I saw only two silver CCC's I thought were good. One for sure was a Junker and the other that I believe had a chance was unmarked. All the rest were FLL. I saw several bronze that were good. Ron.

Well, I had original CCCs in bronze, silver and gold and none sold. My silver is the full FLL with address on other side.

I did not sell the minty Meybauer 800 silver Spanish Cross with swords, but sold one bronze Juncker. The unmarked gold SC also went home with me.

I did sell mint Heer and Luft Flak badges. They were both Junckers and both stunning.

Overall, the badges sold very well, with the mint early Juncker Pilot selling to a dealer for retail. I missed a beautiful early Deumer pilot that sold for $400 and resold for $1100.

I had great sales on my badges. Perhaps you guys didn't look hard enough.

Sorry for the bad photos, but I am using an unfamiliar camera with poor lighting, until I get back to Arizona.

Spanish Crosses. The silver is Meybauer 800 with Meybauer shield. The gold is unmarked.
