Hi Chris there are some really good copies of this award, but personally I quite like this one. Would wait for other opinions. Could probably do with weights and measurement. All the best

Were these also made with a solid lower arm of the swastika? I have one like this with a completely solid swastika.

An obvious question at this point in time................ Who made these unmarked zinc examples? From a distance, the hardware (short barrel hinge and rectangular 'C' catch on a circular plate)on Scott's example, looks a little 'Junckerish'. We know that original early nickel-silver versions came both marked and unmarked from Juncker....

                Regards,
                Mark

Hi Mark, IMO there is no way of knowing at this time. I don't think it was Juncker as the wreaths do not exhibit any of the hand filing that we typically see on Juncker badges. best wishes,
                  jeff

Here is my badge with a nice thick finish which has developed a lot of bubbles. best wishes,

                            Jeff,

That is the same type of bubbling that I would like to see on a 25 JFS PAB in Silver, or on a ScHWERIN Uboot Spange.

I see your point about hand filing. This one thread I pulled up shows a Flak Badge. Not a lot of hand finishing.

                            Regards,
                            Mark

PS - Never saw you pull that beauty out before. Makes me wonder what else you may have hidden!

I have a few more treats laying around! best wishes,
