Doug, that looks like a really bad casting of an early CE Juncker badge. It might be 800 silver, but IMO, not made prior to May 1945.

I have to say, with the utmost respect, this is a large leap into the unknown for a collector who’s just taken his first steps into the minefield of Luftwaffe badge collecting.
I agree with the other members.. This is a cast fake of a 'Juncker', made to deceive the inexperienced and should be returned at once.

it is 100 % original and made in the time, came from a private family- it is jewelery made in the time !!!! as i describe jewelery made- you can see the age and also the needle system, it is 100 % original !!

I'm not sure we ever discussed this anywhere but I doubt that jeweler made 'copies' during the Reich were even legally made number one and legally worn number two. Doesn't seem reasonable given the close scrutiny of authorities over all things about awards.
